IIST students have once again brought pride to Indore by excelling in the prestigious i-HACK hackathon series, held during IIT Bombay E-Summit and organized by E-Cell, IIT Bombay. Manasvi Gangrade, a 2nd-year B.Tech (AIML) student and team lead, along with Navneet Kaur, a 3rd-year B.Tech (CSE) student, demonstrated outstanding problem-solving abilities and secured 1st place. Their victory earned them a cash prize of ₹100,000!
Competing against over 1,000 participants, the team successfully cleared two rigorous rounds to reach the grand finale. Their winning solution, presented through a detailed PPT and a fully functional coding implementation, focused on fraud prevention, fair gameplay, and responsible gaming. The judges were highly impressed by its innovation, feasibility, and real-world applicability.
IIST students tackled the problem statement: “Ensuring transparency, security, and ethical practices in India’s online gaming industry using AI, ML, and blockchain-driven solutions.” These problem statements are curated in collaboration with industry experts to ensure participants work on challenges with real-world significance and commercial viability.
Simultaneously, Manasvi Gangrade also secured a remarkable victory at InnovateX, a prestigious national-level case presentation competition focused on Supply Chain & Logistics at E-Summit 2025, IIT Bombay. She emerged as the winner, claiming 1st place along with a ₹50,000 cash prize!
Competing against over 2,500 students, Manasvi and her teammate successfully cleared two challenging rounds—a quiz and a case submission—before advancing to the grand finale. As the team lead, she delivered an innovative PPT solution combined with a fully functional coding model, impressing the judges with her technical and analytical skills.
On this phenomenal achievement, Shri Arun S. Bhatnagar, Group Advisor of IIST, congratulated Manasvi and acknowledged her dedication, technical brilliance, problem-solving ability, creativity, and perseverance as key factors behind her success.
