g Special Interest Groups (SIGs)

At Indore Institute of Science and Technology, we are committed to enhance the Employability Quotient of the Students along with Holistic Development. Towards this we have dedicated Special Interest Groups (SIGs) on emerging technologies like Data Analytics, Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), Robotics, Mechatronics, Additive Manufacturing, Renewable Energy, Sustainable Development, etc. These SIGs focus on the capacity building of the faculty and students and enable them to take up the activities related to training, research and development on the emerging fields.

At IIST, on-campus internships from first year itself help us to improve our technical skills and project based learning enable us to identify the emerging technology through SIGs. In SIGs we improve our logical thinking and designing through project based activities just like minor specialization. I Trained my juniors for the Robotics and IOT SIG and got full support from the ECE department. Proud to be an IISTian.

At Indore Institute of Science and Technology, the curriculum has SIGs and technical clubs. At Automotive SIG we enhance our skills in the form of minor specialization. We improve our logical thinking and designing through hands on training and project based activities basically a practical approach to the application of theoretical concepts.

It was a wonderful experience to be the instructor / Trainer at special interest group (SIG) of "Web Development". I express my deepest gratitude to respected DG sir and Principal sir for introducing this kind of concept in the institute. It helped me in nurturing my passion in this field. I'm also thankful to faculty coordinators for support and wish good luck to the new batch of Web Development SIG.
