Recognizing the critical role of academia and industry in shaping the future, Indore Institute of Science & Technology (IIST) has proudly hosted the first-ever International Conference on Advances in Cutting-Edge Technology (ACET-25) in collaboration with MIT World Peace University, Pune on 22nd and 23rd February , 2025.
The conference has provided an interdisciplinary platform for researchers, academicians, and industry experts to explore, discuss, and contribute to advancements in science and technology to foster global collaborations and showcase groundbreaking research that will drive India’s transformation into a technologically self-reliant and innovation-driven economy.
ACET-25 marks a historic milestone for IIST, bringing together a diverse group of 67+ participants from national and international institutions.
ACET-25 was honored to host two distinguished keynote speakers, each an expert in their respective fields, contributing to India’s scientific and technological progress: The Keynote speaker & the chief Guest Dr. Prof. Prabhat Ranjan – Vice Chancellor, D Y Patil International University, Pune. A renowned Nuclear Fusion Scientist, Futurist, and Innovator, Prof. Ranjan has played a pivotal role in shaping India’s space and assistive technology advancements. Prof. Niteesh Purohit – Director, SGSITS Indore & Professor, ECE Department, IIIT Allahabad, expert in digital communication, AI-driven networks, and signal processing, (ACET-25) was honored by the presence of Shri Arun S. Bhatnagar, Honorable Group Advisor of Sparsh and IIST Group of Institutes.
Shri Bhatnagar emphasized the role of innovation, research, and education in driving India’s transformation into a Viksit Bharat, Unnat Bharat (Developed and Progressive India). During his address, he highlighted the critical need for technological advancements in shaping a better living space, where sustainability, smart solutions, and cutting-edge research come together to enhance the quality of life.
He urged researchers and academicians to focus on bridging the gap between theoretical research and real-world applications, ensuring that technology catalyzes national progress and global competitiveness. ACET-25 is not just an academic conference; it is a transformative initiative that aims to connect research with real-world applications. By providing a global platform for knowledge exchange, cutting-edge research, and industry-academia partnerships, the conference will significantly contribute to India’s journey toward a technologically empowered, innovation-driven economy.
In the closing remarks Shri Keshav Patidar, Principal of IIST, expressed his gratitude to the distinguished speakers, researchers, and participants for making ACET-25 a resounding success.
