  • INDUCTION 2025: IIST and IIMR Welcome B.Tech and MBA Batch 2025

    The 4-day induction ceremony, “Abhigyata Parv 2025”, for the Engineering and Management Batch 2025 of Indore Institute of Science & Technology (IIST) and Indore Institute of Management and Research (IIMR) began on 18 August. As one of the best B.Tech and MBA colleges in Indore and a top engineering and management college in MP, the Institutes focus on holistic student development, combining academic excellence with personal growth.

    The ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of lamps in front of Maa Saraswati. The primary objective of the induction program was to familiarize new students with the institute’s systems, protocols, and processes, while also guiding them on how to maximize available facilities and mentorship to build an ideal professional character and secure a bright future.

    On the first day, Group Advisor Shri Arun S. Bhatnagar addressed the students, highlighting the importance of adopting AI in today’s rapidly evolving environment. He emphasized that skills are becoming increasingly important alongside academic degrees. Shri Bhatnagar introduced the institute’s innovative education model, “Samagra Samutkarsh Yojana”, which integrates academic excellence, ethical values, social responsibility, and personal development. He also shared insights on the budget allocated for college startups and research, preparing students to excel in Industry 5.0.

    Smt. Rajni Sekhri Sibal, IAS, Secretary of the Department of Fisheries and civil services topper of the 1986 batch, inspired students by stressing the importance of hard work, dreaming big, and building a strong foundation for success. Dr. Ankit Shah, Foreign Policy and Security Expert, presented his thoughts on “Building a Developed India 2047,” highlighting economic and demographic trends shaping the nation.

    The day concluded with the expression of gratitude by Principal Dr. Keshav Patidar, followed by senior students welcoming the newcomers through vibrant cultural programs.

    The second day of the induction, on August 19, featured presentations by Dr. Prabhat Ranjan, Chairman (Research, Innovation and International Relations), DY Patil Pratishthan, Pune, on topics like “India’s Technology Vision 2035 and its Impact,” along with insights from Adeen Shukla (CTO, Metafic) and Mahwish Khan (Co-Founder, Qualimetrics).

     

    Through initiatives like Abhigyata Parv 2025, IIST continues to establish itself as one of the top B.Tech colleges in Indore and among the best private engineering colleges in Madhya Pradesh, ensuring students are well-prepared for both academic and professional excellence.
