Orientation Program 2017
Indore Institute of Pharmacy, Indore organized an orientation programme for the newly admitted M.Pharm,B.Pharm and D.Pharm Students at the institute premises on 16 August 2017. The major objective of the programme was to make the parents, students aware of the academic aspects of the course, the rules and regulations of the institute and ensuring parental participation in monitoring the performance and progress of the students. More than 160 students were present on the day of orientation.

Mr. Ajit Gupta, Director of HR, Cipla Ltd,Pithampur, Indore and Lt. Col. Amit Karulkar, Head of HR and Administration, ACG Worldwide, Pithampur, Indore were present as chief guests and guest of honour on the day.Dr.Neelam Balekar, Principal, College of Pharmacy, IPS academy, Indore also graced the occasion by her presence.
Function started with traditional lamp lightening ceremony and Saraswati Bandana. Dr. Sanjay Jain, Principal, IIP welcomed the newly admitted students, briefed them about pharmacy profession, importance of regular attendance in the class, maintaining discipline of the college and hard work.
In his benedictory speech Lt. Col. Amit Karulkar, Head of HR and Administration, ACG worldwide addressed the gathering elaborating the importance of technical knowledge and right attitude in getting placed after completing graduation. He said an individual needs to be “T-fit”, “B-fit”, “C-fit” and “R-fit”for getting best placement. He advised students to remain away from ill habits and get addicted to books. Mr. Ajit Gupta, Director of HR, Cipla Ltd, Pithampur In his speech told students about the role of a pharmacist for working towards novel cause and serve millions of patients. The importance of quality and values in pharma profession like dedication and integrity were also highlighted. At last he elaborated the importance of social media and advised to grow their network to remain connected to other professionals of their field.
Academic coordinator, Dr. Rekha Bisht conducted the induction programme in elan.
